FAQS

Common Questions

  • Please come as you are! There's no dress code here. Our congregation tends to dress casually to semi-formally, and we warmly welcome you just as you are.

Explanation: Jesus answered this question well when He said, "...the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23–24). The essential thing is not what we wear, but the attitude of our heart—and we truly believe that.

  • Our Sunday morning services focus on worshiping God through Jesus Christ. We spend time singing together and listening to teaching from God’s Word. The centerpiece of our time is an expository sermon—practical, understandable Bible teaching where our pastor carefully explains God’s truths, applying them to everyday life.

Services begin at 10:45 AM and finish around 12 PM. During the teaching time, we offer Junior Church for children ages 5 through 6th grade, with age-appropriate songs and lessons in a fun, safe environment, so parents can listen without distraction.

Whether you're new to church, haven't been in a while, or just curious, we invite you to join us in seeking God together!

  • We welcome EVERYONE, whether you're exploring faith for the first time, questioning what you believe, or just curious about what church is like. Our doors are open to ALL in our community—no matter your background, beliefs, or life experiences.

Explanation: Jesus Himself invited people from all walks of life to come to Him, and we follow His example by creating a space where you can learn about Christ through the Bible without any pressure or prerequisites. Jesus said…

Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 9:13 Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.

John 6:37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

  • We love families and are committed to helping kids grow in their understanding of God's Word in a fun, safe, and age-appropriate way!

Here's what we offer for children:

    • Nursery: Available during all service times for infants and toddlers, with caring volunteers who provide a nurturing environment.

    • Children's Sunday School (Sundays - 9:45 AM): Classes for various ages where kids learn biblical truths through engaging lessons.

    • Junior Church (Sundays - 10:45 AM): During the teaching portion of our morning service, children (ages 5 through 6th grade) enjoy their own program with songs, Bible teaching, and crafts tailored just for them.

    • Kids4Truth (Sundays - 5:45 PM - 7:15 PM): A dynamic program focused on memorizing Scripture, learning Biblical truth, and applying faith to everyday life in an exciting club-like setting.

All our children's ministries are led by screened, trained volunteers who prioritize safety and biblical teaching.

Whether your family is new to church or looking for a place to connect, bring the kids—we'd love to welcome you!

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and the sole authority for faith and life.

At the heart of our faith is that Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, lived a perfect life, died a sacrificial, substitutionary death to pay for our sins, and rose from the dead on the third day—offering forgiveness and eternal life to all who turn from sin and unbelief and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

We emphasize living out our faith through love for God, obedience to His Word, and sharing God's love with others—both in our daily lives and by proclaiming the Gospel.

For a more detailed statement of our beliefs and related sermons, including topics like the creation, the deity of Jesus Christ, being born again, and the church, please visit our website here – Beliefs.

We're happy to discuss any questions you might have! You can contact us by email, text, telephone call, or you can also submit a question here – Questions.

  • No, if you're a first-time visitor, please just come and enjoy your time with us!

Explanation: In truth, no one must give money to attend or participate in our services—everyone is welcome regardless of whether or how much they contribute.

We believe giving and generosity are a joyful response to God's grace and a demonstration of our faith. They should come from the heart, not out of obligation, and are a way of supporting the local church’s ministries and outreaches.

At some point, if you desire to give, we provide easy ways to do so: either by placing your gift in one of the plates at the back of the auditorium or by giving through our online service via our church website.

2 Corinthians 9:7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Malachi 3:10 Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.

Luke 21:1-4 Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, 2 and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. 3 And he said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. 4 For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.

TRY FIVE

Stepping into a new church can feel daunting, especially if you're exploring faith or seeking a spiritual home. That's why we invite first-time visitors to "Try Five"—join us for five consecutive Sunday services to experience deep biblical teaching, joyful worship as we seek God through His Word, and our warm fellowship, .

Find lasting connections, spiritual growth, and a true sense of belonging. No commitment needed—just come as you are.

Ready? Your first visit counts as week one—see you this Sunday!

Think of "Try Five" like starting a new relationship—it's about building familiarity, trust, and connection over time. Just as you wouldn't decide on a lifelong partner after one coffee date, we encourage you to give our church five Sundays to see if it feels like home. Here's how it unfolds, step by step:

  • Check out the general feel & atmosphere of the church, your debut visit is all about observation. Come in, enjoy the worship, hear the message, and meet a few friendly faces. No pressure—just see if there's that initial click with our community and God's Word.

  • Now, conversations deepen, this is when you start noticing the details. Engage in the singing, absorb more from the sermon, and perhaps chat with someone after service. It's a chance to share a bit about yourself and learn how our biblical teaching resonates with your life.

  • At this point, comfort levels rise and you discover shared values. Participate in prayer or fellowship moments, explore our programs (like Sunday School or Kids4Truth), and reflect on how the Gospel-centered focus aligns with your spiritual journey.

  • The longer you know someone, the more their heart is revealed. This step invites vulnerability. Join in discussions, ask questions about our beliefs, or even pray with us. You'll start seeing how our emphasis on Scripture can nurture your faith in practical, everyday ways.

  • By this point, you know & understand enough of Grace that you can make a solid decision about this church - continue, commit, or uncertain.

By now, you've experienced our corporate worship, community warmth, and biblical truth. Whatever decision you make, we are so thankful that you joined us & allowed us to encourage you in Christ!

FAQS

Deeper Questions

  • We use the King James Version (KJV) in our services and teaching, as it provides a time-honored, formal-equivalence translation that stays close to the original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts. That said, our congregation members use a variety of translations, and we encourage whatever faithful version helps you connect personally with God's Word.

We believe that "word-for-word" approaches—like the KJV, NASB, LSB, or ESV—are best because they prioritize accuracy and faithfulness to the Scriptures while remaining understandable. If the KJV's archaic language feels challenging, we recommend one of these alternatives that honors the original text yet supports everyday study and application. Ultimately, our goal is to honor the inspired Word and make its life-changing truths clear for everyone in our community. If you have questions about translations or need recommendations, we're happy to chat!
